OK, GC fans! I know that you all want to scream at the top of your lungs:"I LOVE GOOD CHARLOTTE!".
But there is a little problem - the people around you would probably think that you are
out of your mind.Especially if you do this in Bulgaria where the people who know that there is
a band called Good Charlotte are . . . well, just a few. So you probably think:"How to represent GC then?"
I wouldn't say that it's simple, but it's not so hard either. Here is a list of things you can do
to represent GC:
1. I haven't seen a store in Bulgaria where they sell GC T-shirts. I mean I haven't even seen
a music store where they have their albums. Anyways, if you want a GC shirt all you have to do
is pick a photo of the band(or of your favorite member) you really love and go somewhere where you
can have this pic printed on your shirt. That's it. Oh , and wear it all the time :):):).
2. Make your friends memorize the lyrics to all the GC songs. Or at least to some of them.
You are probably wondering how this is going to happen. Well, just sing the songs all the time.
Or play Good Charlotte's CD at school. I'm sure it's going to work.(I did it. One day I played
"The Anthem" like 20 times on our stereo at school and then everybody were going around singing
"I don't ever wanna be you
Don't wanna be just like you
What I'm sayin' is
This is the anthem
Throw all your hands up
"
and so on.It was cool.)
3. Make yourself look like Benji or Billy.Using an eyeliner I mean. But you can also get tattooed
or pierced:):):) .
4. Speaking of tattoos - here's an advice from Joel: "Get GC tattooed on your ass!" Hm...not a bad idea.
But if you want to have GC tattooed somewhere on your body. How about on your left arm right
above your elbow?WHY? Because the guys from Good Charlotte all have "GC" tattooed there. Although,
I have doubts about Benji. I just can't find it among all his tattoos... Help me!
PS: You don't have to get tattooed for real. You can just use a permanent marker.
5. In Bulgaria you can't find articles or posters or pics of GC in magazines or newspapers(OK,
I know you are probably sick of this "In Bulgaria this, In Bulgaria that" but, hey, I'm just describing
the situation here). Print some pics and cover the walls in your room with them.
Or why don't you just make a little shrine with candles and stuff.
No, I'm just kidding. Don't get that obsessed.
6. Talk about Good Charlotte all the time.
7. Listen to their music non-stop and make sure that your neighbors can hear it.
8. Write things such as "Good Charlotte", "Good Charlotte Rocks", "Good Charlotte Forever" , "Yound and Hopeless",
etc. wherever you can.
9. Put a pic of the band on your rucksack so that everyone can see it.
I'll think of more "ways to represent Good Charlotte". But I think that's enough for a start.
